Little Town Dairy

The same family has farmed at Little Town, which specialises in premium products made from the milk of its RSPCA accredited herd, for three generations. Dairy produce includes crème fraiche, smoothie drinks, luxury thick and creamy yogurts with real fruit pieces and a mouth-watering range of farmhouse ice cream. The farm shop stocks a full range of farm-assured beef, lamb, pork and chicken, as well as turkey and duck at certain times of the year.

All the beef is family-farm Aberdeen Angus, the pork is from outdoor-reared Saddleback pigs and their own lambs produce top quality meat. The shop also sells freshly baked bread, cakes and pies, a wide range of jams, preserves and local honey, as well as pickles, chutneys and sauces, and seasonal vegetables. You can watch the cows being milked as part of your visit.

• Every August Little Town throws open its doors in conjunction with the National Farmers’ Union to provide a popular free family day out. Visitors can see all the animals and enjoy donkey rides, special events, children’s entertainment and free tastings
• Seasonal flower baskets and hampers are on offer and you can also pick up logs, kindling, coal, charcoal and birdseed.
